Help your body be healthy again when suffering from sleeplessness
So we just got back from a 1-week vacation. 7 Days in a gorgeous hotel with swimming pool, lovely food, right on the beach. Fantastic. But now we are home and have the post vacation blues. And to make matters worse my four-year-old son got used to us sleeping in one room, often creeping into my bed for a cuddle. Which is fine in its self except that now we’re home he doesn’t like sleeping in his own bedroom. It’s fine we first go to sleep, but then a few hours later, just as I get to bed to go to sleep, he calls out “Daddy!”. The night before last I kept going in there and lying on his bed with him until he was asleep, before creeping back to my room. But then just as I got to sleep, I would hear “Daddy!” This must have happened about 4 times before I saw my watch at the side of the bed said it was 4 o'clock! OMG!
I hadn’t wanted to let him sleep in my room as I knew we wouldn’t break the habit, but when I realized it was 4 am enough was enough. I carried him to my room and we slept.Currently, he goes to nursery and so doesn’t have to be there at a certain time, but I normally have him there for about 9 o'clock so I can get my work done. But on this occasion, due to the lack of sleep, we were late getting up and I didn’t take him till 10.30.
I then had a quick workout, but because of missing a lot of Zzz found that I wasn’t really up for it and was constantly yawning. After woods, I sat at my desk with a strong coffee. With a late start to the day, I was already behind and knew that my reward would be having to work into the night to catch up. Meaning I would have to have a late night when I was already tired, at a time when my son won’t let me sleep and then I’ll have to get up and do it all again tomorrow. The well-rested feeling I had on vacation had gone in 1 day!
So I sat at my desk trying to boost myself up with caffeine, looking at a computer screen with the feeling of a headache coming on.
I couldn’t really concentrate. My physical performance in the gym was down and now my mental performance was suffering too. My head felt foggy and I had an overwhelmed feeling (stress) due to being behind with my work. When I pushed aside the ‘My life sucks’ and ‘My life is impossible’ thoughts along with memories of the vacation, I slowly got through some of my jobs. But it was hard going.
That night, just as before, my boy called out just as my head hit the pillow. Like I said I didn’t want to move him to my room as we would never break the habit. On the second time of him calling out, I decided I would have to sleep in his bed, at least for a while. Now I’m not tall (boohoo for me) but my feet hit the bottom of his single bed and his mattress isn’t deep enough for me. So I know I’m in for an uncomfortable, disrupted sleep with the accompanying neck and back ache in the morning. What joy. The ‘My life sucks’ thoughts pop back into my head.
I manage until probably about 4 o clock before creeping back to my room. He then called out for me about 5 or 6ish.
So again my sleep pattern is all messed up, I’m feeling tired and my mental and physical performance is impaired. So I know exactly how it feels to have sleep deprivation, albeit that mine is only temporary (hopefully). My heart goes out for people really suffering from sleeplessness and insomnia.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), more than one-third of U.S. adults regularly sleep less than 6 hours a night.
This is bad as the benefits of an adequate 7 to 8 hours sleep include better heart health, reduced stress, improved memory and weight loss, better mood, stronger immune system, even a longer life.
So a few years ago, when I decided to start my own company with our own range of supplements, I knew the first product we would launch would be a sleep aid because of all the reasons above.
I have 20 years experience in this industry and made a conscious decision not to create a me-to company. A company selling 1000’s of lines with dubious effectiveness just because that’s what everyone else is doing. I knew I wanted to focus purely on lines which can greatly improve a person’s quality of life. Product’s they can actually feel working.
So far we’ve created:
-
A sleep aid called ‘SleeperZzz’ (which we will talk about today)
-
A supplement which can help memory and mental focus called ‘Mastermind Matrix’
-
A natural supplement for mood support called ‘Uplift’. If people try this first it may prevent them ever needing nasty and addictive anti-depressants.
-
Aside from these we have totally different product lines in the UK and Europe due to different regulations. Here we sell supplements for weight loss, colon cleansing, male support and a pre-workout along with a whole range of skin creams and personal care items.
SleeperZzz is a natural, non-addictive, over the counter sleep aid that helps you get to sleep quickly and stay asleep all night.
It aids your natural body clock. With today's fast-paced lifestyle many people are lacking sleep due to stress and anxiety. Also, long work hours or night shifts are messing up the body's biorhythm. SleeperZzz can be used to restore a normal healthy sleep pattern. They aren't just for insomnia relief.
Wake up feeling fresh and energized. Unlike many natural sleep remedies on the market, SleeperZzz will not make you feel tired and groggy the next day. In fact, you will wake up feeling fresh with mind and body rejuvenated.
Safe, quality product made in the USA. Have peace of mind with a sleep aid supplement made in the USA to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards in an FDA Registered and inspected facility. With tried and tested ingredients proven to work, this sleep aid formula encourages the body to release optimum levels of melatonin to calm and relax you and help you drift off to sleep.
Natural and Scientifically Backed Ingredients: L-Theanine, GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid), Phellodendron Root, Mucuna Pruriens, 5-HTP (5 hydroxytryptophans) and Melatonin.
SleeperZzz is drug-free and has zero side effects so you won't feel groggy the next day. This is essential if, like me, you have children. You see they help you sleep but if your kids call out you will still wake up to tend to them and still be able to function normally. It’s not like a medicated sleep where you won’t be aware that you kids are calling you. Or if you do wake up to their calls your legs are like jelly and you’re not really with it, which is a hazard in its self. You won’t get any of that with SleeperZzz. You will just get a good nights sleep.
So tonight the plan is that about an hour before bed, I will take my SleeperZzz with a warm milky drink. Then when he calls out, as I’m sure he will, I will lie with him until he goes back to sleep and hope that over the next few nights he will gradually get used to sleeping in his own bedroom again and I, with the help of SleeperZzz, will get more sleep and feel well rested and get back to my normal super product life (okay, moderately productive.)
