With nearly two decades of experience in the advertising industry, Leah’s journey into the world of skincare and entrepreneurship is truly a tale worth knowing. Starting as a product development intern at a cosmetics corporation in Gurnee, IL, Leah’s career took an unexpected turn, influenced by an internship that would play a crucial role in realizing her dreams.
But the true genesis of drenchbar® isn’t found in a boardroom or an office; it’s rooted in Leah’s personal story, a narrative that began with her mother. Losing her mother to cancer at the tender age of 17 left an indelible mark on Leah. Her mother’s legacy became the inspiration for drenchbar. Leah’s mother, a resilient woman, achieved remission from cancer through a combination of diet, meditation, and love. Her strength and wisdom left an enduring impact, guiding Leah through her own journey of motherhood. It was this maternal influence that spurred Leah to take a different path.
Enter drenchbar® – a concept inspired by Leah’s children’s sensitive skin and the challenges of post-bath meltdowns, galvanized by the supportive Reddit skincare community. It became the embodiment of a new era in skincare, aligning with the lessons and values Leah inherited from her remarkable mother.
