Radiant and Beautiful- that's you

Your skin is the largest organ in your body and is your protective barrier from bacteria, dirt, allergens, and other toxins. Your skin is affected by cold weather, which can dry out your skin, pollution and toxins, which can dull your complexion, and harmful sun rays that may accelerate skin aging. It’s beneficial to develop an approach to wellness, beauty and skin care that is holistic and keeps you looking well outside as well as feeling good inside. Your skin absorbs nutrients just as your internal organs do; glowing skin requires choosing the right products for you to care for it!

There are daily habits that you can include in your skin care regimen to ensure a great complexion; here are some useful tips to help you toward radiant, beautiful skin!

1. Sun exposure can cause damage to skin due to harmful UV rays. Choose products with a level of UV protection (ideally around SPF 15 which blocks both UVA and UVB rays) and avoid too much time out in the sun. UV Ray's can penetrate through reflective surfaces so always take extra care; it helps to avoid the sun when it is at its strongest, generally from around 10am-3pm. During colder weather, you should add some extra moisturizer, love your skin and it will love you back!

2. Moisture balance! Your body is largely composed of water, and dehydration will show through the complexion and appearance of your skin. The same applies to eating well, ensuring you provide your body with good nutrition including foods rich in Omega 3 and 6 which contain good fats and promote skin moisture.

3. Cleanse, tone and moisturize your skin. Throughout the day dirt and bacteria seep into your pores; one very simple ‘golden rule’ is to always remove makeup before you sleep, this cleanses skin and allows your pores to breathe. The great news is that your skin constantly regenerates so you can normally see changes and create lovelier looking skin in around 4 weeks!

4. Sleeping beauty. It’s called ‘beauty sleep’ for a good reason; sleep releases a whole host of hormones that regulate your body and contribute to your wellbeing, including Melatonin which has an antioxidant effect and can reduce signs of skin aging. The first signs of late nights, bad nutrition, lack of exercise, and inadequate health will be evident through your skin and complexion.

5. Skin care based upon your skin type. Use products that match your skin type, which may be oily, dry, and normal or combination, or sensitive. There has been a steady increase of hypoallergenic skin care products with almost 50% of consumers opting for a more natural approach; according to the Skin Care Intelligence Center 1 in 4 of us is allergic or has an adverse reaction to common cosmetic and skin care ingredients. When choosing your skin care products aim to do a patch test on a small area of skin first, your skin is as individual as you are!

6. Vitamins and Minerals! Vitamins and minerals play a key anti-oxidant role in skin care and can reduce damage caused by ‘free radicals’, namely pollution and toxins as well as excessive exposure to the sun. The great thing about vitamins and minerals is that they are easily absorbed topically through products that contain what your skin needs to keep it looking firmer and more youthful.

Beauty and skin care product manufacturers understand the greater need for more natural, yet high-performance products that are less harmful to sensitive skin. Your skin is the first impression you make, it’s a key indicator of your health and well-being, and aspiring for beautiful , glowing skin is worth the journey to find a product range that makes your skin feel well loved and taken care of.

Tiffany Andersen (Founder and CEO of The Gavée Gold Collection) took her quest for radiant skin a few steps further; she began to rebuild her body after diagnosis of Stage IV non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and a traumatic accident that nearly left her paralyzed. The inspiration behind The Gavée Gold Collection was to send a message of hope and strength; maintaining optimism during unpleasant circumstances.

Tiffany believes that in weakness we find strength and hope; and that many of the answers to health and beauty reside in the natural world available to all, but unknown to many. After learning her body could no longer filter toxins, she dedicated herself to research, looking for elements that help restore the skin naturally, creating a toxin-free skincare line. Through a steady stream of miracles, she was granted exclusive worldwide rights to organically extracted elements to produce this collection.

The Gavée Gold Collection contains 7 key formulas, which are powerful enough to be used as a standalone formula or as part of a daily regimen.

•    The process organically extracts living minerals from gold while eliminating the metal; the precious elements create a proprietary blend of purified liquid gold, cell salts, and ozonated omega oils.

•    Helps restore beauty naturally, giving the skin what it needs to thrive. Pure nutrients—antioxidants, minerals, essential fatty acids, and oxygen—produces noticeable glowing skin.

•    Contain benefits that have been clinically proven through a stringent third-party clinical testing facility, with over 90% of subject noticing a considerable difference in skin brightness, hydration, and wrinkle reduction. The Gavée Gold skincare products are environmentally safe and are never tested on animals.

•    Renowned toxicologist, Dr. Clint Skinner, ensures all carcinogens, hormone disruptors, and neurotoxins are removed, according to the strict cosmetic guidelines used today.

The Gavée Gold Collection fuses both organic and high-performance elements. Here are three of their top sellers!

•    Liquid Gold Peptides is infused with apple stem cells, non-toxic brightening peptides, and firming agents, it helps to brighten skin and restore proper lipids creating a smooth, lasting glow. It is highly concentrated; a little bit goes a long way. Liquid Gold Peptides is excellent for all skin types, especially sensitive and blemish prone skin. “I recommended using the Liquid Gold Peptides in the evening because the firming agents create a protective barrier which you don’t want to disrupt with make-up,” Andersen states.

•    The Golden Enzymes is a gently enzymatic exfoliant moisturizer infused with activated oxygen in the form of cosmetic ozone, which is good for all skin types. It contains a 5% alpha hydroxy acid and enzymes to help lift dead skin cells, revealing a fresh, healthy glow that helps to soften fine lines and wrinkles. Infused with a natural pineapple scent, it’s a perfect way to end the day.

•    The Cell Salt Detox is a super infused serum containing 12 vital mineral cell salts to help detoxify the skin without any toxic chemicals. It is great for oily and acne skin types, especially as a spot treat for blemish prone skin. Cell Salts are not to be confused with “other healthy salts.” Andersen states, “Our cell salts are not a chunk of rock salt or sea water. They are extracted living minerals that are fundamental to the health of our cells.” Cell Salts contain minerals such as calcium sulfate, which, like oxygen, is vital to our health and skin, but in a more potent form by means of a technical extraction process.
