It was during the bustling month of May in 2022 when a journey towards nature began: our natural skincare brand Earthy Thingz was born.
It a venture sparked by a mother’s unshakeable dedication to her family’s well-being and health. As she looked after her two daughters and all their needs and wants, a dream was born: to go back to our natural roots, and utilize what Mother Nature has gifted us. And thus began her quest to discover and implement what truly nourishes our bodies and souls, and how we can reap its benefits sustainably.
It was not just an outward journey of seeking nature’s bounties, it was a search within, one that led her to the soothing embrace of Mother Earth. Our founder at Earthy Thingz, who considers herself first and foremost a mother, driven by a relentless passion, went on to craft products that spoke the language of nature. Earthy Thingz products came into being, that were not just a treat for the skin, but a balm for the spirit.
The Earthy Thingz founder has always been intrigued by natural remedies, and would often cherish her time she spent with her daughters as she utilized various herbal remedies to solve their health and beauty concerns. Her favorites were the avocado and coconut oil hair masks and the use of activated charcoal and sea moss gel potions for rejuvenating the skin. What began as an easy and safe way to combat skincare concerns at home soon turned into a full-fledged business, fueled by her passion for helping others the natural way.
As she moved ahead on her journey, she dived deep into the menaces of modern living, and how quick, artificial solutions often do more harm than good for our overall well-being. The ugly truth of processed food, chemical laden skincare and things full of preservatives that we put inside and on our bodies strengthened her faith in the healing powers of nature. She was often horrified by the potential side effects of prescription medicine, and she struggled to find a way that could heal her children from within, without exposing them to the disastrous effects modern medicine and skincare products could have on them.
