Water has a very human quality. Anthropologists tell us that some of the first civilizations structured their lives around rivers, where the flow of water became both a means of survival and a ritual. We now stand beneath contemporary streams, with showerheads instead of waterfalls, but the idea is still the same. We don’t only wash off filth in the shower; we also reset, rejuvenate, and reconnect with ourselves.
Sadie and Abby, who started SadieB, didn’t just comprehend this in a general way; it was personal to them. Sadie grew up doing hair for dances, weddings, and other important events. Her hands were in hair that spoke tales, emotions, and hopes. Abby worked with businesses in Utah and the International Rescue Committee to understand that business can be more than just making money; it can also be a force for good.
They both realized that something was lacking in the hair care business. Brands were scary, too polished, and too far removed from the people they claimed to be helping. There wasn’t a place where young girls could learn that hair care is more than just a chore. They could learn about the emotional boost of a nice shower, the confidence that comes from having soft, clean hair, and the power of products made for them.
SadieB was formed out of shower therapy. It is a brand created by girls and women to appreciate the power of indulging in simple rituals. Sadie and Abby didn’t simply want shampoo and conditioner; they needed to make the shower a safe place.
Two of their meticulously put together collections stand out like diamonds at different times of the day: Peachy Dream and Vanilla Mint Refresh.
