FIGHT AGING NATURALLY – IMPROVE SKIN, HAIR & NAILS

Reading time:  2 min read

Our appearance is a mirror that reflects who we are, revealing our lifestyle choices, our state of mind and our potential. Everyone wants to feel beautiful, and the pursuit of diminishing the signs of aging is an honorable one. Many things can accelerate our skin to age, hair to thin and nails to become brittle. It can be caused by a deficiency in your diet, environmental chemicals and toxins, or inevitably the loss of collagen as we age. By taking some preventive actions, you can delay the effects of aging, and even improve your skin, hair, nails and overall health. You can’t stop the changes of time as you age, but you can modify your lifestyle, activity and add beneficial nutrients to lessen the signs of aging.

Drink plenty of clean water.

Water keeps your body hydrated and helps maintain your skin’s elasticity. People who drink large amounts of water are less likely to suffer from scars, wrinkles, and soft lines and they won’t show as many signs of aging as those who drink little amounts of water.

Minimize alcohol.

Alcohol is rough on the skin. It dehydrates the skin, and in time, damages the skin, which ultimately makes us look older.

Get enough sleep. Getting enough quality sleep can help protect your mental health, physical health, quality of life and your appearance.

Get some exercise daily.

Findings from a few studies suggest that moderate exercise can improve circulation and boost the immune system. This, in turn, gives the skin a more-youthful appearance.

Overcome stress.

Chronic stress causes rapid aging, and wreaks havoc on your appearance. Try deep breathing exercises, yoga and meditation to help.
