Humble Beginnings:
Lupita Martinez embarked on her journey in herbal medicine, rooted in the rural valleys of Mexico where she grew up. From an early age, she was immersed in natural home remedies, as her family preferred herbal treatments over conventional medicine. She noticed that in many households, chemical medications were absent; instead, people relied on herbs and traditional remedies to address ailments that pills often couldn’t heal. This early exposure sparked her lifelong passion for holistic healing.
It was during these years when she first came into contact with medicine made by nature’s offerings that would help shape who she is today. Her path to alternate medicine and herbalism is inspiring. Lupita had the rare opportunity to study from the famous herbalist Dr. Sebi and Annette Thomas.
Not being a passive learner, Lupita embraced herbs as she was his first Mexican disciple. She travelled and wide with Dr. Sebi and his family, and seized her chance to learn and heal naturally while attending to varied patients.
