When three brother Mark, Tom and Dan came across a neglected piece of land in East Houston, a collective dream was born: the dream to turn the patch of empty land into a community farm. Together they toiled on the land to create something meaningful to give back to there community.
And this is how Base3 Farms Came into being.
The intentions behind initiating a community farm in East Houston was to instil the love of agriculture in the neighbourhood, and to reconnect their fellow Houstonians with their roots. As they became successful in planting a wide variety of crops, including moringa trees, the neighbourhood interest grew. Surprisingly, the people were largely intrigued with the exotic moringa tree, and were eager to know more about its health benefits.
As the public interest into moringa tree grew, the three brothers had another brilliant idea: to turn the moringa tree leaves into powder form. Why was moringa powder such a hit with the people, you may wonder. The bright green Moringa leaves powder is packed with benefits. The neighbourhood loved the Moringa powder so much, Mark, Tom, and Dan decided to turn this into a full-fledged business.
In 2018, Mark, Tom, and Dan, along with their friend Connon, officially laid the foundation of Base 3 Farms. The team had one mission: to bring fresh Moringa products to families across America; and to promote health and wellness through local agriculture.
