Let’s be completely forthright for a second, just between you and this post. You have all experienced this. You end up with a cut that is utterly laughable and really uncomfortable. It may be on your knuckle, or it could be on that strange, bendy part of your elbow, or it could be on your heel, which is the place where shoes tend to cause a slow death for your feet. Your heart is filled with optimism as you reach for your first aid bag and pull out a typical bandage that is rectangular in shape.
You put it into practice.
For approximately three seconds, it appears to be flawless.

After that, the moment you move, it bunches, wrinkles, peels, and asserts its freedom more quickly than a stray sock in the dryer. BAM! You are left with a little, sticky flag of surrender after the adhesive moves to the enemy territory of your skin, the little gauze pad slides off the actual wound, and you are left with another tiny flag of surrender.
You deserve better.
