Due to unforeseen circumstances, Darnell and Ty became caregivers to six grandchildren, a challenge for which they needed all the support and kindness of the Lord to make it through. They made the difficult decision to sell PHAT WINGS and refocus their priorities on family.
Despite numerous tumultuous transitions, Darnell’s passion never disappeared.
The original dream God had placed in his heart remained, and Darnell was determined to pursue it. Finally, in 2024, they opened PHAT WINGS & SMOKE RINGS™, a testament to their dedication and drive. You can guess what question began to hound them at their new place.
