Zina and Igor are a brave couple who made the decision to leave the home they knew in the Soviet Union to look for a better life in the United States. They faced many hurdles, but their love for food and commitment to quality were always their companions on the journey.
Zina is a skilled food scientist who was inspired by her many experiences in Europe, especially in Italy. the abundance of fresh ingredients and the tradition of cooking techniques in Italy filled her with love and passion. Zina determination to bring that same quality and authenticity she experienced in Italy and other European countries, to the meals she prepared in America, is how and why she and Igor started Zina’s Crepes, Soups, and Desserts.
Their passion for food quickly caught the attention of their community. By the early nineties, their small business had grown from serving 12 stores to thousands throughout the United States. The dedication, passion, and commitment for delicious, high-quality food creations, resonated with people everywhere.
In 2012, Valentin Chelnokov joined the company as President and CEO. The ability of Valentin to share his creativity as well as to lead has helped Zina’s Fine Foods continue to grow and flourish.
